MILLBURG, Mich. — “Held over” would be the phrase on the marquee if the Point O’Woods Golf & Country Club was a movie palace. For the first time since the 1970s, the Western Amateur will go an extra day.
Golf outing raises $58,000 for Talbert House (The Cincinnati Enquirer)
Once again, University of Cincinnati football coach Brian Kelly shows that he can be on a winning team. Kelly was part of the annual Team Up Cincinnati Golf Outing in June that raised $58,000 for Talbert House, a nonprofit social-services agency.

And the winner and still champion is … Flip Bradley. Coming from six strokes back with 11 holes to play on Sunday, Bradley won the Valley Hill Country Club men’s golf championship again.
