Huntingdon athletic director Buzz Phillips announced the hiring of Matt Mahanic, a former assistant golf coach with the Hawks, as the program’s new head men’s golf coach.

The Oshkosh North girls golf team fell a little short in its opening match against Fox Valley Association opponent Appleton East 244-270 at Westhaven Golf Course. Alexis Klinger was the Spartans low scorer with a 56. Anna and Sam Kennedy posted a 59 and 73 respectively. Erin Stindt rounded out Norths roster with an 82.
